Responsible play
Our games are competitive, and some of them involve money. That should be fun. This page is about keeping it that way, and about what to do if it stops being fun.
How our games work
Winjo Games makes games of skill. Players get the same board and the best score wins, so practice and quick thinking are what improve your results — not luck, and not spending more. Skill still doesn’t mean guaranteed: better players lose games too, and there’s no strategy that turns entry fees into reliable income. Nobody should play to make money.
Play within your means
- Decide what you’re willing to spend before you start, and treat it as the cost of the entertainment.
- Only use money you can afford to lose. Never money meant for rent, bills, or food.
- Don’t play to win back what you’ve lost. Chasing losses is how a bad session becomes a bad month.
- Take breaks. Long sessions make for worse decisions and worse scores.
- Don’t play when you’re upset, exhausted, or drinking.
Signs worth paying attention to
It might be time to step back if you’re playing longer or spending more than you meant to, borrowing money to play, hiding how much you play from people close to you, chasing losses, feeling anxious or low when you’re not playing, or letting work, sleep or relationships slide.
None of that makes anyone a bad person, and it’s more common than most people think. It’s just worth noticing early.
Before launch we’ll build in tools to help you stay in control — spending and time limits you set yourself, a way to take a break, and a way to close your account permanently. Until then, email us and we’ll help directly.
Under 18
Our games are for players 18 and over. If you share a device with someone younger, use your phone’s screen time or parental controls to keep our apps off it.
