Terms
Winjo Games builds skill-based mobile games. This page sets out the basics of what we expect from players and what you can expect from us.
Our games aren’t out yet. Full terms will be published here before launch, and you’ll need to accept them in the app before you can play.
Who can play
Our games are for players 18 and over, in the United States. We’ll ask you to confirm your age when you sign up.
Competitions
Our games are games of skill. Players compete on the same board, and the best score wins — not the luckiest draw. Some competitions are free to enter and some have an entry fee and a prize. Where there’s an entry fee, you’ll always see what it costs and what you can win before you enter.
Paid competitions won’t be available in every state. We’ll publish the list before launch.
Fair play
Competitive games only work if everyone plays the same game. So, no:
- bots, scripts, or modified versions of the app
- more than one account per person
- teaming up or throwing games to affect a result
- exploiting a bug instead of telling us about it
If we find someone cheating, we’ll reverse the result and may close the account. Tell us if you think we’ve got it wrong and we’ll take another look.
Our games are ours
The games, the artwork, the code and the Winjo Games name belong to us. Playing doesn’t give you rights to copy or reuse them.
What we can and can’t promise
We’ll work hard to keep the games running well. But servers go down, code has bugs, and connections drop, so we can’t promise everything works perfectly all the time. We may also add, change or retire games and features as we go.
